Shipley Bowmen welcomes archers of all ages from 8 years upwards. Beginners and archers returning to the sport are welcome to attend a few sessions free of charge to find out what is involved and to shoot under the supervision of experienced archers. We have a variety of bows and other archery equipment for you to try out, so there’s no need to buy anything right away.

If you are interested in a starter session, drop an email to Dee on shipleybowmen@outlook.com, so we can have some coaching and equipment ready for you. There is sometimes a short waiting list for new starters, so we can ensure you get the help you need to get going as an archer.
